MGA’s Durability Controllers are multi-purpose systems that have high levels of functionality and are ideal for conducting mechanical and power motor life cycle tests. These systems are designed to be portable so that laboratory personnel can get maximum benefit for testing that may be done at ambient or extreme environmental conditions. The machines are based upon shop-air and/or standard 110 VAC service. The units are designed with a control interface that is easy-to-use but has the capability for complex cycle sequences.

Manual Life Cycle Station

Manual Life Cycle StationMGA’s line of life cycle test stations have the potential to conduct many types of tests. The Life Cycle Station is a controller that will operate a series of pneumatic actuators to repeatedly perform a sequence of motions. This action is automated by a central PLC, and is programmed by the operator through easy-to-use software. Test personnel can choose from a large variety of cylinder options and set them up in numerous combinations to mechanically cycle or fatigue many different types of components. Power Life Cycle Station

Power Life Cycle StationMGA’s line of life cycle test stations have the potential to conduct many types of tests. The Power Life Cycle Station is a controller that will operate a series of electrical connections to control DC motors that are utilized in many types of systems. The station is automated by a central PLC, and is programmed by the operator through easy-to-use software. Devices that require DC voltage may be attached to the controller through the wiring harness and then setup to perform limitless combinations of functions. Popular examples include power seat adjustment, motor actuation, heating components, window cycling, etc. MGA has been conducting life cycle testing for many years and has optimized the design of this multi-purpose test tool.

Hybrid Life Cycle Station

Hybrid Life Cycle StationMGA’s Hybrid Life Cycle Station combines the functionality of both the Manual and Power Life Cycle stations into one compact unit. As a whole, the operator has the ability to conduct a virtually limitless combination of events which may have both mechanical (manual) and automatic (power) sequence steps. This action is automated by a central PLC, and is programmed by the operator through easy-to-use software. Popular examples include opening and closing a car door while the window cycles up and down, cycling a car seat fore and aft while turning on and off the seat heater, etc. MGA has been conducting life cycle testing for many years and has integrated many novel and innovative upgrades into this multi-purpose test tool.
