Rollover and Sensor Development

In support of helping automakers refine their airbag algorithms, MGA offers a variety of static and dynamic abuse testing aimed at gathering airbag sensor data.  Our testing allows for a range of data collection, from light impacts such as speed bumps and potholes, to more severe and destructive testing to determine the thresholds for airbag firing. MGA’s 400 acre proving grounds consists of dedicated rollover facilities, 10 miles of test tracks, and over 50 different road surfaces. A secluded 4-acre skid pad allows for driving and maneuvering events. MGA has been developing new ways for gathering unique data from the beginning of our sensor abuse program, and we continue to expand these operations further to assist our customers.
